A few years ago a friend shared a pencil with me that he really liked. I used it to a stump and had to get another one. On a trip to New York City I found a store that I was sure had the pencil I was looking for. I found the pencil but also found 10 others I like just as much! A world was open to me that I didn't know existed. I had no idea there are good pencils and bad pencils, hard pencils and soft pencils, new pencils and old pencils.
I bought several pencils that day and brought them home with me. I started talking to my friend about the pencils I had bought and sharing new pencils I had found. He convinced me that I should begin collecting pencils and then convinced me that maybe I should start selling pencils.
Here we are today. My collection has grown and I want to share the history of each pencil and my thoughts on each pencil with anyone that will listen.
